Happily Waiting

When we happily wait...

We find a way to wait to heal

We work, we work hard

We challenge ourselves to find a way to bring joy

It's often hard

It's often coupled by fear and anxiety

It's usually not easy to let go of those who hurt us

It's usually easier to forget

But then, we remember why we want to heal

And then, we remember why we worked so hard

Because then, we experience joy in its purest form.
